Ella Button Ring

SOLD Some antique shell buttons are truly exceptional, and this is one of them. Intricately carved, iridescent, and pierced through, this beauty spent many years in my personal collection before I was ready to transform it into a ring. I set the button in 22k gold, taking care to pierce through the sterling silver backing to highlight the pierced carving. In the center of it all is a stunning Oregon Sunstone, with generous flashes of schiller throughout, and set in 18k gold. The band and carvings on the side are sterling silver, with 18k accents. This is a one-of-a-kind ring.

Beneath the Surface Necklace

  A cluster of silver barnacles lies beneath the surface of this watery aquamarine, whispering of timeless tidal moments. Handcrafted in sterling silver, this pendant is set with an open back (you can see through it), and is strung on an 18" strand of faceted aquamarine rondelle beads (from my adventures in India!). This necklace is finished with a custom sterling silver "S" clasp. One-of-a-kind. ~1.5" long by .5" wide, on an 18" strand.

Snow Heron Earrings

<em><strong>MADE TO ORDER</strong>; Please allow up to 2 weeks for me to craft your earrings.</em>   Majestic, long-necked birds have always captivated me, with their grace, strength, and incredible beauty. These earrings are an ode to these birds (herons, cranes, egrets, swans, etc.), and a tangible invitation to incorporate their beauty into our own. Handcrafted in sterling silver and 18k gold, with carefully selected dendritic opals for the bodies, these earrings are light weight, and the legs swing as you move about. Graceful, elegant, and simple.   <strong>This particular pair has sold</strong>, but it is representative of the style of earrings that you will receive. You may purchase a custom pair here, but please contact me first to <em>view my curated collection</em> of dendritic opals, each selected for their bird-like, organic patterns. You may select the pair of opals that you would like me to use, or I am happy to select a pair for you. Each pair of opals is unique, due to their organic nature, so the earring length is determined by the size of the chosen opals. ~2-3" L x .5" W (5-7cm x 12mm)

Collage Lentil Earrings

<em><strong>MADE TO ORDER</strong>; Please allow up to 2 weeks for me to craft you earrings.</em>   Drawing is one of my favorite loves, so it's a true delight to be able to incorporate my drawings into my jewelry. These earrings are shaped like a lentil (hollow inside), detailed on both sides, and they spin! They're handcrafted in fine silver, sterling silver, and 24k gold, and finished on the backside with a tidy ear-wire catch. ~1.5" L x .75" W (40mm x 20mm)

Samara Panel Bracelet, with black diamonds

<em><strong>MADE TO ORDER</strong>: Please allow up to 2 weeks for me to craft your bracelet.</em>   Familiar to many as a childhood delight (or headache, if you're a landscaper or gardener), the samara is the seedpod of the maple tree. Inspired by the whimsical nature of these pods, the Samara Panel bracelet is composed of 7 sterling silver panels, each one textured with varying patterns of dancing samaras, and studded with a solitary black diamond, set in 18k gold. The panels are hinged, creating a solid, comfortable piece that flexes with your movements. This bracelet is finished with a hidden 14k white gold box clasp. ~1" W (25mm) x 7"L

Mussel Shell Pendant, on chain

<em><strong>MADE TO ORDER</strong>. Please allow up to 2 weeks for me to craft your necklace.</em>   Mussel shells line the beaches here in Maine, washed up in long, seaweed-tangled rows. I find them irresistible. At first glance, they look brown and bland, but holding them up to the sunlight reveals the loveliest hues of purple, blue, and white. I spend hours collecting these, and then many hours more cleaning the brown off of them and selecting the ones that are jewelry-grade. I break many of them along the way, but once they reach the jewelry-stage, they're no more fragile than an opal or pearl. I sand them to reveal their natural colors (no color-enhancements here!), fill them with clear resin (for structural integrity, and to allow the light to pass through the translucent shells), and set them in sterling silver (or 22k gold, per request). Suspended on an 18" silver chain. A bit of the Maine coast, to keep near your heart.
