The Empress Ring

Saltwater Leaf Earrings

<em><strong>SOLD</strong></em>   These beauties were just spectacular, if I do say so myself. Handcrafted in sterling silver and 18k gold, and dripping with plump, facetted drops of moss aquamarine, these earrings engaged the light in such a dazzling way.

Infinity Bracelet

<em><strong>AVAILABLE NOW</strong></em>   Simple and elegant, this piece is one that you'll live in. The infinity symbol is securely hinged to the cuff at one side, while the other side functions as the clasp. Easy. ~Handcrafted in sterling silver (18k gold available by request). Fits a 7" wrist comfortably. Please specify when placing your order if you need it a bit larger or smaller.  

Sweeping Cranes Earrings

    Drawing is one of my favorite loves, so it's a true delight to be able to incorporate my drawings into my jewelry. These earrings depicted cranes, sweeping across the full moon, and were shaped like lentils (hollow inside), with details on both sides, and they spun! They were handcrafted in fine silver, sterling silver, and 24k gold, and finished on the backside with a tidy ear-wire catch. ~1.5" L x 1" W (40mm x 25mm)    

Samara Panel Bracelet

<b><i>AVAILABLE NOW</i></b>   Familiar to many as a childhood delight (or headache, if you're a landscaper or gardener), the samara is the seedpod of the maple tree. Inspired by the whimsical nature of these pods, the Samara Panel bracelet is composed of 7 sterling silver panels, each one textured with varying patterns of dancing samaras. The panels are hinged, creating a solid, comfortable piece that flexes with your movements. This bracelet is finished with a hidden 14k white gold box clasp. ~1" W (25mm) x 7"L

Samara and Tourmaline Crystal Earrings

<em><strong>MADE TO ORDER</strong>: Please allow up to 2 weeks for me to craft your earrings.</em>   Familiar to many as a childhood delight (or headache, if you're a landscaper or gardener), the samara is the seedpod of the maple tree. Borrowing inspiration from this delightful seed, these earrings are made up of individual segments that are linked together, allowing for graceful movement when worn. Handcrafted in sterling silver, with dainty tourmaline crystals*. *Given the organic nature of the tourmaline crystals, please expect some variation in color and size. ~2.5" L x .75" W (6cm x 20mm)

Mussel Shell Earrings

<em><strong>MADE TO ORDER</strong>: Please allow up to 2 weeks for me to craft your earrings. These earrings are representative of what you can expect, and NOT the actual earrings that you will receive.</em>   Mussel shells line the beaches here in Maine, washed up in long rows of tangled seaweed. I find them irresistible. At first glance, they look brown and bland, but holding them up to the sunlight reveals the loveliest hues of purple, blue, and white. I spend hours collecting these, and then many more hours cleaning the brown off of them, and selecting the ones that are jewelry-grade. I break many of them along the way, but once they reach the jewelry-stage, they're no more fragile than an opal or pearl. I sand them to reveal their natural colors (no color-enhancements here!), fill them with clear resin (for structural integrity, and to allow the light to pass through the translucent shells), and set them in sterling silver (or 22k gold, per request). A bit of the Maine coast, to incorporate into your daily life... **As these shells are organic, please expect some variation in color, pattern, and size of the shells.** ~sizes range from 1.5" - 2.25" long (40mm - 5.5cm)

Sunfire Ring

<em><strong>SOLD</strong></em>   Inspired by winged insects, the Sunfire ring featured a fiery Oregon Sunstone trillion cabochon, flanked by glowing 18k gold wings and sweeping gold lines, and was set on a sterling silver band. One of my all-time-favorite rings.

The Original Snow Heron Earrings

<em><strong>SOLD</strong></em>   This was the first pair of Snow Heron earrings that I made, and the start of a love affair with this design that continues to this day. Inspired by the gorgeous pattern and palette of the dendritic opals, and how beautifully they leant themselves to my bird design, I handcrafted these earrings in sterling silver and 18k gold. Moonlit Ocean Necklace

<em><strong>AVAILABLE NOW</strong></em>   Moonlight over the ocean..... this one-of-a-kind necklace is both beautiful and interactive. Handcrafted in sterling silver, the doors of the window are hinged to swing open, revealing a scene of rolling waves under a blue moonstone moon, set in 18k gold. This focal pendant is suspended from a double strand of faceted iolite beads, and closes with a custom silver clasp.   ~20" L
